
We are thrilled to welcome actor, writer, and musician Jason "SweetTooth" Williams to Colorado as Artist-in-Residence with CenterStage Theatre Company on May 22 and 23, 2026. Over the weekend, Jason will lead two workshops for our young performers focused on stage combat and musical theatre skills.
Jason is teaching Stage Combat, where students learn the craft of safe, story-driven stage fighting, and Acting Through Song, a deep dive into the actor's work inside a musical theatre number. Classes are filling up quickly so registration soon to reserve your spot.
Jason SweetTooth Williams is a theater, TV, and film actor, a writer, a musician, and a father. He was seen on Broadway as Mr. Heere in Be More Chill, and originated roles regionally and Off-Broadway in Disney's Freaky Friday (La Jolla Playhouse), Benny and Joon (The Old Globe), Bloodsong of Love (Ars Nova), The Untitled Unauthorized Hunter S. Thompson Musical (La Jolla Playhouse), Gun & Powder (Papermill Playhouse), The Black Suits (SPF, The Public Theater), The Witness Room (Off-Broadway), and others.
Jason played opposite Jackie Hoffman as Prince Dauntless in Transport Group's revival of Once Upon a Mattress, and was seen as a Melrose Brother in Jelly's Last Jam for Long Wharf Theatre. He is an original member of the award-winning theater collective Iconis and Family, and can be heard on Joe Iconis' albums Things to Ruin, The Joe Iconis Rock n Roll Jamboree, and the 44-track opus Album.
On screen, Jason appeared opposite Jared Leto in WeCrashed for Apple TV+, and has been seen on episodes of Only Murders in the Building, Bull, FBI, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, American Horror Stories, Law & Order, and the feature film Notice to Quit.
