What We Expect

• Come prepared and give your best effort. • Treat others with kindness and respect. • Learn lines, music, and choreography on time. • Attend rehearsals punctually. • Communicate schedule conflicts early.

1
Attendance

Consistent attendance is essential to the success of a production. Rehearsals build upon one another, and each performer plays an important role in the progress of the group.

Conflicts should be communicated as early as possible. As performances approach, attendance becomes increasingly critical and may require prioritizing rehearsals over other activities.

2
Safety

CenterStage is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants.

Disruptive, threatening, or abusive behavior is not acceptable. If concerns arise, staff will communicate with families and determine appropriate next steps, which may include removal from the production when necessary to protect the well-being of others.

3
Health

To keep our cast and staff healthy, students who are ill should remain at home.

If a performer becomes sick during rehearsal, families may be contacted for pickup. Keeping everyone well helps ensure a strong, successful, and joyful production experience.

4

Inclusion

CenterStage welcomes students of all backgrounds, abilities, and identities. We believe theatre is strongest when it reflects the full range of who we are. Every student deserves to feel seen, respected, and valued in our space. We honor each student's gender identity and expect our community to do the same.

Together, We Create Something Extraordinary

When everyone shows up prepared, respectful, and committed, something truly special happens on stage. In that shared effort, creativity thrives, confidence grows, and every performer finds their place in the story.
