Jeanie Balch Jeanie is a founding director of CenterStage and a lifelong fan of the music of Queen. She is thrilled to be combining two passions by working on this musical with CenterStage youth! She started the CenterStage middle school theatre program with a production of John Lennon and Me, and has also directed Anne of Green Gables and Narnia with this age group. Other favorite directing credits include Jesus Christ Superstar, Avenue Q, Godspell, and most recently an immersive and travelling production of Our Town, where she had the pleasure of meeting Caleb Sharp.
Judith Jessup Judith Jessup is a Theatre Major at the University of Colorado Boulder. Judith is originally from Longmont and has been in the regions performing arts scene for eight years now. This is her debut with Center Stage and she is so excited for this opportunity!
Arianna Snow is a proud CenterStage alumni. Having acted in several shows with the company, it is her delight to have directed Frozen jr this fall! She looks forward to being a part of Tapestry Once Upon A Matress and CenterStage Into The Woods. Arianna recently graduated from the University of Northern Colorado where she studied Musical Theatre and finished with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies. Arianna has spent many years assisting in arts administration and currently works daily with kids teaching music classes at schools all over the Denver Metro area. Frozen is a show that Arianna is very excited to direct! She wants everyone involved having a fun time exploring the awesome and eccentric characters of this story.
Anthoney Sandoval
Madeline Shaffer has been teaching and choreographing for over 10 years. She is from Illinois where she taught and performed with her local studio in national competitions across the US. She then obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Dance at Jacksonville University and moved to NYC. While in New York she has had the opportunity to perform in a national tour, choreograph an off broadway show, have work showcased in a dance festival, and choreograph a world premiere along with numerous other dance positions and musical productions! She loves the spirit, community, and energy that dance can bring to the world, and is excited to get to know the actors in We Will Rock You young@part!
Caleb Sharpe Caleb Sharp is a graduating student of Theater at CU Boulder. Focusing on Theater theory, Musical Theatre, design, and acting; he's had the pleasure of being involved in entertainment since the age of 12. He's very excited to be working with CenterStage again after being a part of the company's production of Our Town, and looks forward to helping bring to life this fantastic musical We Will Rock You.
Melissa Williams is an active performer and teacher in Colorado. Melissa is at home in front of the footlights as an actor or working backstage as a director, stage manager and prop designer. She teaches a busy private vocal studio (South Boulder Vocal Studio) and has directed the Summer Camp programs for CSTC for the past four years. Melissa directed CSTC mainstage of productions of 13: The Musical, Into the Woods, and A Little Princess. A advocate for arts education, Melissa developed the elementary musical theatre curriculum for CSTC as well as helping plan the class offerings at CenterStage’s new studios on Front Street. Melissa believes in the power of the performing arts in developing young people's confidence, creativity, and sense of community. Melissa holds a MM in Voice and Pedagogy from the University of Colorado, studying with the late Barbara Doscher. She also trained at the Boston Opera Institute with Sharon Daniels and Phyllis Curtin. Melissa completed Winter Intensive with Double Edge Theater in Massachusetts and the Expressive Actor Training with Michael Lugering in Las Vegas, NV.
