Megan is both the School Counselor and Director of Musicals at Eldorado PK-8 in Superior. While these two roles might seem drastically different, Megan blends her passion for working with youth into both and feels they compliment one another well. Throughout her 25 years of directing shows at Eldorado, one of Megan’s proudest achievements is that she is able to introduce theatre to kids who might not have considered it before, and who end up loving being part of the shows. Megan also frequently directs fall musicals and summer camps at CenterStage and is truly honored to share her passion for performing with young people who really want to invest in theatre.   

While most of Megan’s creative time is dedicated to directing, she loves to perform when she is able. Most recently, Megan played Jack’s Mom in Into the Woods at Breckenridge Backstage Theatre in 2019. She also can often be seen in the background of several Furniture Row commercials. After college, Megan travelled with the international performance and service group, Up With People (something she has in common with Cammie!). It was during this experience that she met her husband, who is an avid supporter of theatre (and sometimes performer!). They have 3 children, who in one way or another bring performance into their lives. Hayden and Clare, two of their children, have performed at CenterStage and it has made a lasting impact on them, which is why Megan is grateful to be on the board to create more experiences like this for all kids.
