Why work at CenterStage

Do the work you love, and watch it change a kid's life.

Since 1999, CenterStage has been a place where young people of all ages and abilities belong. Theatre builds people, and the confidence, friendships and character our students develop here stay with them long after the curtain closes.

We produce more than 15 shows a year in our Black Box Theatre in Louisville and at venues across Boulder County, along with classes, camps and our Tapestry program, which casts actors with disabilities in leading roles. When you join us, you become part of a creative team that aims high, cheers each other on and has a lot of fun along the way.

Why people love working at CenterStage

Help kids grow

More than 400 young performers take our stage each year. You’ll help them build skills, confidence and friendships that last well beyond the final bow.

A team that has your back

Directors, music directors, choreographers, stage managers and teachers share ideas, pitch in for each other and celebrate every opening night together.

A community that shows up

Our families volunteer, cheer and fill the house, and together we build a community that lasts beyond any one show.

People stay

Many of our directors and teachers return season after season because they love the work and the people they do it with.
