About the role

The Development Manager raises the support that keeps CenterStage accessible to young performers of every background. You'll own our annual fundraising plan and build lasting relationships with donors, sponsors and foundations across Boulder County.

This is a great fit for a nonprofit fundraiser who loves the arts and wants to see the direct impact of their work on stage every season.

What you'll do

  • Plan and run annual giving campaigns and donor appeals.
  • Lead the Heart for the Arts fundraiser and other donor events.
  • Recruit and steward business sponsors and community partners.
  • Research, write and report on grants.
  • Manage the donor database, gift entry and thank-you process.

What you'll bring

  • Two or more years of nonprofit fundraising or development experience.
  • Strong writing skills, especially for appeals and grants.
  • Experience with a donor database or CRM.
  • Comfortable building relationships and asking for support.
  • A love of the arts and youth programs.
