Thank you to everyone who auditioned for our production of Little Women! We were really impressed with all the talent we saw and are excited to work with you on this show.
Listed below are the roles we are calling back to see more of tomorrow. Callbacks begin at 2:30pm and will be held in the Dance Studio of Koko Plaza (901 Front Street Louisville). Please be early for your call time (listed on the Little Women Callback Schedule) and please take the time to look at the music that is posted for those roles before you come. CenterStage reserves the right to call any actor back for any part, so please be aware you may be asked to stay and read/sing for a part you are not listed for. It is likely you are called for more than one role, so please check the whole list. If you did not get called back, please still check for an email about casting. In an effort to be efficient with our time, we have only called back people we need to see more of. Marmee March *the mother of the girls, warm, maternal, but struggles on the inside Called: Miranda Hunt, Fiona Cubillas, Lou Abecassis, Kira Williams, Caitlin Kinney, Julia Jacobson, Madison Wosk Meg March *the eldest, most romantic and elegant of the sisters. Falls in love with Mr. Brooke Called: Miranda Hunt, Elisa Lepere, Kira Williams, Allison Renken, Ella Blankinship, Heather Garland, Caitlin Kinney, Julia Jacobson, Madison Wosk Jo March *the main character and second sister. Gutsy, fiery, longs for adventure and to write. Laurie’s love interest, but marries Professor Bhaer Called: Miranda Hunt, Lou Abecassis, Kira Williams, Julia Jacobson, Madison Wosk, Fiona Spencer Beth March *the third sister, most timid and shy, but comes alive around her family and when she plays the piano. Dies of scarlet fever Called: Katie Lam, Ashley Beall, Molly Fickes, Cayley Meyer, Lily Weisbart, Fiona Spencer, Payton Goodwin, Heather Garland Amy March *the youngest sister, can be considered “bratty”, but longs for fine things and elegance, she’s feisty like Jo. Marries Laurie after going to Europe with Aunt March Called: Katie Lam, Molly Fickes, Cayley Meyer, Lily Weisbart, Fiona Spencer, Payton Goodwin, Ella Blankinship Aunt March *the March sisters grumpy, very wealthy great aunt. This part is comedic, so try experimenting with age, voice, and comedic timing Called: Fiona Cubillas, Lily Weisbart, Allison Renken, Abby Mulligan Laurie *Mr. Laurence’s grandson and the March’s neighbor. He is a fun-loving character who longs to be part of the March family. Falls in love with Jo, but eventually marries Amy. Called: Ryan Dinkelmeyer, Christopher Warren, Lucas Huber, Weston Imer, Nathan Gutman Mr. Brooke *Laurie’s tutor, loves books and learning. Falls in love with Meg. Called: Ryan Dinkelmeyer, Crhistopher Warren, Weston Imer, Lucas Huber, Nathan Gutman Mr. Lawrence *Laurie’s grandfather and the very wealthy neighbor of the March family. He is old, grumpy, and crotchety. This role is comedic and earnest. Called: Weston Imer, Ryan Dinkelmeyer, Christopher Warren, Nathan Gutman, Jackson West Professor Bhaer *lives in the boarding house in New York where Jo has gone. They have a friendly, bickering relationship and he pushes Jo to better her writing. Eventually proposes to Jo. Has a German accent.
