
Melissa Williams is a Colorado-based performer, director, voice teacher, and certified intimacy director.
Local audiences may know Melissa best from her recent turn as Dolly Levi in Hello, Dolly! at the Candlelight Dinner Theatre, where she also portrayed Claree Belcher in Steel Magnolias. Other favorite roles include Mame Dennis in Mame, Margaret White in Carrie, the Baker's Wife in Into the Woods, and Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd.
As a director, Melissa is celebrated for her inventive approach to theatrical spaces and storytelling. Recent credits include Alice By Heart, Bright Star, School of Rock, and Next to Normal, with other favorites spanning Avenue Q, Into the Woods, and a filmed production of She Kills Monsters. Her work crosses opera, musicals, and straight plays.
Melissa is also the founder and director of South Boulder Vocal Studio, where she maintains a thriving private voice studio. A passionate advocate for arts education, she believes deeply in the power of the performing arts to build confidence, creativity, and community.
