Zach Kester is thrilled to join Center Stage as the Music Director for The Sound of Music. A passionate composer, arranger, and vocal director, Zach has written over 12 original musicals and brings a wealth of global experience to the production. His career spans five years as a creative director and musical developer with EMK in Seoul, South Korea, as well as serving as a teaching artist for the Shanti Bhavan Children's Project in India. Locally, his work with Centaurus High School has encompassed everything from vocal direction to organizing pit orchestras and managing rehearsal tracks. Zach is dedicated to building collaborative musical communities and is excited to bring the iconic harmonies of the von Trapp family to life.
