New Class: Shakespeare 101

We are excited to introduce Shakespeare 101, a brand-new class for grades 6 through 10. Students will learn the basics of classical acting, Shakespearean language, poetic meter, and physical characterization, then rehearse and perform a scene and a sonnet or monologue in an informal showcase for family and friends.

‍

The class is taught by CenterStage favorite Kyle Lawrence, a Colorado actor and educator who just finished his fourth season with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival. Shakespeare 101 meets six Saturdays, January 16 through February 20, from 10:30am to 12:30pm, and is limited to 12 students.
