Broadway veteran actor/writer/musician Jason "SweetTooth" Williams is coming to Colorado as an Artist-in-Residence for CenterStage Theatre Company May 22 and 23, 2026.
Join us for a one-of-kind Acting Through Song workshop designed for performers who want to deepen their connection to storytelling through music. Led by Broadway actor Jason SweetTooth Williams through his company SweetStudio, this session offers a dynamic and supportive environment for growth.
Participants will have the opportunity to present a song of their choice and receive personalized feedback focused on acting technique, physicality, and clear, compelling storytelling. This is a judgment-free space where actors are encouraged to take risks, explore bold choices, and build confidence in their performance. Whether you’re polishing audition material or simply sharing something you love, this workshop celebrates authenticity, creativity, and fearless expression.
ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Jason SweetTooth Williams is theater/tv/film actor, a writer, a musician and a father. He was seen on Broadway as Mr. Heere in Be More Chill, and originated roles regionally and Off Broadway in Disney's Freaky Friday (La Jolla Playhouse), Benny and Joon (The Old Globe), Bloodsong of Love (Ars Nova), The Untitled Unauthorized Hunter S Thompson Musical (La Jolla Playhouse), Gun & Powder (Papermill Playhouse), The Black Suits (SPF- The Public Theater), The Witness Room (Off-Broadway) and others.
Jason also played opposite Jackie Hoffman as Prince Dauntless in Transport Group's revival of Once Upon a Mattress, and was seen as a Melrose Brother in Jelly's Last Jam for Long Wharf Theatre. Jason is an original member of the award-winning theater collective known as Iconis and Family and can be heard on Joe Iconis' albums "THINGS TO RUIN", "The Joe Iconis Rock n Roll Jamboree" and the 44 track opus "ALBUM".
As a screen actor, Jason appeared opposite Jared Leto in WeCrashed for AppleTv+ and was seen on episodes of Only Murders in the Building, BULL, FBI, Marvelous Mrs Masiel, American Horror Stories, Law and Order and the feature film Notice to Quit.
